Electronic Arts mobile division EA Mobile will initiate developing games at its Hyderabad office in India. EA had acquired Jamdat and from then Jamdat has been EA’s mobile division.
Surya Pulagam, managing director, Jamdat Mobile (India), said, “So far the Hyderabad centre of Jamdat has been getting international content and deploying it over here. It has also been providing support services for the other global centres in terms of deploying the content for the North American and the UK carriers. We will now start developing local content here. The focus would be on casual games as “these cater to both the male and the female mobile gaming audience.”
But they still haven’t specified the details of the titles that they were working on.
