The excitement of the Green Lantern movie may have died down, but gamers who just can’t get enough of the superhero have a deal lined up for them. The Fight for the Light DLC pack developed for DC Universe Online will be available later this year on the PS3 and PC.
This is the first DLC pack made available for the title and will include the game’s seventh power set – Light. Along with the Green Lantern character, new locations are also said to be integrated into the game through the pack. One of them is S.T.A.R Labs where Green and Yellow Lantern Corps must team up to stop Brainiac from misusing powerful devices from the lab.
“The Green Lantern has been a mainstay for DC Comics fans for more than 60 years, and is a fan favorite among our players. We’ve listened to the feedback, and fans can now create their own Lantern-inspired characters including the use of light powers,” shared, Mark Anderson, Game Director of DC Universe Online.
Coastal City is another location in the pack where players must make their way through the ‘City Without Fear’ up to the Ferris Aircraft, the home of Hal Jordan. Sciencells Prison location on planet OA will team up gamers with Guy Gardner in order to prevent a prison break which can result in the escaping of some feared prisoners of the Green Lantern Corps.
No word on the release date yet, but prices of Fight for the Light DLC packs for DC Universe Online were announced. It will cost both PS3 and PC gamers 9.99 USD (approx Rs. 444) to download the DLC.
