Aion to Take Flight in North America and Europe Announces NCsoft
After releasing MMORPG hits like Guild Wars, Lineage and City of Heroes, NCsoft launched the highly anticipated Aion in South Korea last year. The Seoul based publisher has announced that the MMO, Aion will be available in North America and Europe in September.
In the highly acclaimed Aion, players plunge into a war between celestial beings and try to decide the fate of the magical world of Atreia. Flight is an integral part of the game, required for exploring new places, combating hideous enemies and also to complete quests.
Players have to go through thousands of unique story based quests as they travel through a world filled with enemies and mysteries. Apart from retail stores, the game will be available for download at online retailers and the official NCsoft website.
NCsoft has not announced the prices but will release Aion in North America on September 22, 2009 and in Europe on September 25, 2009. Users can also avail of a special pre order promotion at select retailers to receive access to the Aion Closed Beta.
