Mythic Entertainment extends free trial for WAR
There are millions of products up on the internet that come with a free trial offer. Mythic Entertainment, EA has taken it a step further with their MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning a.k.a. WAR trial package. Players may now download an endless free trial of the game with the new streaming client and receive guidance from New User Journey.
The latest WAR trial gives those who are new or returning to the game, a chance to find their ideal avatar. Players can take on twenty-four different characters and even explore the newly created tier dungeon or Hunter’s Vale. However, users will be limited to character level 10 as they progress through tier one Empire vs. Chaos zones in Norland and Norsca. Players may also wield weapons against others at the instanced scenarios Nordenwatch, Gates of Ekrund and Khaine’s Embrace.
“With the introduction of the endless free trial and streaming client, we are making it easier than ever for a new player to join the WAR,” enthused Jeff Hickman, executive producer, Mythic Entertainment. “We’ve worked hard to create a more informative and community driven new user experience, and now we are giving players an unlimited amount of time to explore the early parts of the game at their own pace. We are confident that players new and old will find all the enhancements we’ve made to WAR over the past year worthy of their time and commitment.”
New User Journey lends players game assistance in the form of improved tutorials, and new player guilds. The latter is meant to help first-time users in fitting in with WAR’s versatile community of gamers. Players can obtain 1GB of content on the initial download. Additional content is streamed into the background automatically as and when required. The company claims that their new offer is perfect for those who may want to purchase or subscribe to extended gameplay.
As of now, all closed WAR trial accounts have been converted to open endless free trial accounts. EA’s latest trial offer has already been made available to new players as well.
