Xbox One’s April system update allows you to send voice messages

Microsoft’s Xbox One console has been receiving monthly updates since quite a long time now, and the latest one is all set to introduce one of the most requested features by fans. The upgrade will grant gamers the ability to send voicemail-style voice messages, just like on the Xbox 360 console. Although it will be downloadable during April this year, it’s currently being rolled out to dashboard preview members who are willing to test it for bugs and anomalies.

Microsoft has revealed that voice messaging has been the number one most requested feature in the Friends and Parties section of the Xbox Feedback site. It will allow Xbox One owners to compose and playback voice notes in the Messages app when snapped. These can moreover be easily accessed by just double tapping the Xbox button. Since this trait is already available on the Xbox 360 console, voice messages can be exchanged between both these machines as well.
