Xbox One price in the UK dropped to 299.99 GBP

Microsoft has started selling the Xbox One in the UK at a pretty low price of 299.99 GBP (approx. Rs 27400), but the company is still to reveal whether or not a dip in the retail value of the console will occur in other territories. This is the fourth time that the machine has been granted a price drop, and while it has been revealed to be a limited-time deal, chances are bright that that the new cost could stick around for a long time. Prior to this, the Xbox One was being sold in the UK at 329.99 GBP (approx. Rs 30100).

According to Eurogamer, Microsoft UK is calling this price drop a ‘retailer promotion’ rather than an official price cut. However, it had said the same thing back in September last year, when the asking amount of the console had dropped to 329.99 GBP (approx. Rs 30100). The company has also mentioned that the new deal will provide ‘great value’ for those wishing to buy the Xbox One, as big titles such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Batman: Arkham Knight, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6 and Halo 5: Guardians are lined up for release later this year.

We’re hoping that the Xbox One receives similar price drops in regions from all over the world. Let’s see when Microsoft makes that happen.
