Xbox One with 1TB storage and new controller gets spotted on Amazon

Microsoft’s Xbox One console comes with 500GB worth of storage, but a 1TB version of it indeed exists, and is being listed now by Amazon. In addition to extra storage, this bundle also comes equipped with a newly design controller for the console.

The fresh gamepad grabs a 3.5mm jack, allowing gamers to plug in their headphones to it easily. And that’s not all; this 1TB Xbox One package also includes a free copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection which contains all the main games from the extremely popular series, till date.

And the best part about it is that it costs just $400. That’s exactly how much the console’s 500GB Kinect-less version officially costs. The listing on Amazon has disappeared now, but according to Engadget, it said that the new 1TB Xbox One will be released on June 15.

That’s also the date on which Microsoft will be holding its big annual pre-E3 press conference. Another thing that should be noticed is that if the 1TB model of the console starts being sold at $400, the 500GB variant will most certainly receive a price cut during E3.

If that is true then the Xbox One console will finally become cheaper than the PS4, unless of course Sony too decides to drop the retail value of its own console. All will only be clear during the E3 extravaganza which is slated to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles from June 16 to June 18.

Apart from news about the 1TB Xbox One, there’s much more to look forward to at the show in terms of game announcements. So stay tuned till June 16.
