Xbox One Elite bundle gets unveiled along with Lunar White wireless controller

Unveiled today was the Xbox One Elite bundle and a Lunar White wireless controller, which are set to be made available for purchase worldwide in November and September, respectively. This new hardware is being launched just in time for the release of three of the most high-profile games on the Microsoft console namely, Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6.

The Elite bundle of the Xbox One grants a matte finish to the bodies of both the console and its controller. More importantly, it also comes fitted with a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive. This drive is capable of storing frequently-accessed files on a solid state partition in order to optimize system performance. With this hardware, waking up from energy-saving mode is up to 20 percent faster than normal.

The Elite wireless controller from this bundle won’t be sold separately, as of now. It has been revealed to have been targeted towards performance-focused gamers, and hence features interchangeable paddles, software-based customization, Hair Trigger Locks and a high-performance construction.
