Yet another system update for Xbox One now live

The Xbox One has been receiving system updates every month, and owners of the console can now download the latest one to avail of its benefits. Aimed at adding several new features to the machine, it contains changes which have been demanded by fans ever since the console was launched back in November last year. Here’s what’s in store for those will be downloading it.

Prime among the new additions is the inclusion of notification pop-ups for when friends and favorites sign into Xbox Live while you’re online. Moreover, those friends who are on multiplayer will be distinguished from those who aren’t. A new progress bar which has been added to the interface of the Xbox One will signify the status of game saves and moreover, there’s even a system for easily telling apart which games and apps are being updated or have been updated recently.

Aside for improvements to the voice and motion functionalities of Kinect, the fresh Xbox One system update also provides the console with enhanced GameDVR video quality by means of new compression algorithms. The Blu-ray component of the machine is now able to provide support for 50Hz video output for content recorded at 50Hz. This should be a huge relief for those residing in the UK.
