Kinect Star Wars Bundle Finally Ready for Release on April 3

A delay to the launch of the Kinect Star Wars Bundle was not at all good news for fans of the popular series who were eagerly awaiting this pack. But the neat-looking hardware collection is now all set to arrive for retail along with the game on April 13, 2012.

Included in this bundle is an R2-D2-themed 320GB Xbox 360 console which is equipped with unique sounds from the movies, a white Kinect sensor and a gold C-3PO-themed Xbox 360 wireless controller. Details about the game that would also be outed with this pack were doled out yesterday by Major Nelson on his official blog. Jedi Destiny: Dark Side Rising, Podracing, Rancor Rampage, Galactic Dance Off and Duels of Fate are names of the game modes that will be seen making their way into this title.

The Jedi Destiny Mode within the game will comprise features such as space battles, Speeder Bikes and Landspeeders as well as new duels. On the other hand, the Duels of Fate mode would allow gamers to hone their Jedi skills against the Dark Side in a battle-by-battle manner. Furthermore, the Galactic Dance Off mode which includes Star Wars-themed pop tunes will pit gamers against Darth Vader on the dance floor.

Upon its launch on April 13, the Kinect Star Wars Bundle will be purchasable at a price of 499.99 USD (approx. Rs. 24,670).
