Xbox 360 Arcade With Motion Controller to be Launched by Microsoft?

Back in April this year, there were reports that Microsoft was apparently working on a motion sensitive controller for the Xbox 360. Two major gaming events, E3 2008 and Leipzig Games Convention have come and gone, but Microsoft is yet to make that big announcement for their current generation console.

Xbox 360 Arcade Motion Controller Bundle

Now gaming blog Xbox 360 Fanboy is reporting that Microsoft is getting ready to launch an Xbox 360 Arcade bundle that would come with a motion controller. A source, who is close to the marketing department of Microsoft revealed all this to the blog. It seems that the Xbox 360 Arcade bundle will have mini games (that have support for motion control) developed by Rare.

The Xbox 360 Arcade bundle with motion controller will come with a price tag of $199 (approx. Rs. 8600) as Microsoft wants to pit it directly against the Nintendo Wii. Apparently the Xbox 360 motion controller will also be sold separately, though it will come along with mini games that support motion control. The bundle could be out in the holiday season of 2008.
