Lips karaoke game for Xbox 360 Being Made by Elite Beat Agent Developers?

One of the most successful franchises that Sony has developed is SingStar. Many versions of SingStar are available for the PlayStation consoles. However, the Xbox 360 does not have such a big competitive karaoke video game. But a few days ago, there were rumors on the internet about a new karaoke game codenamed Lips for the console.

Now Joystiq is reporting that the Lips game, which is being touted as Microsoft’s answer to SingStar, is presently under development. The game is being developed by none other than iNiS, the Japanese video games developer who has previously rolled out games such as Gitaroo Man as well as Elite Beat Agents fro the Nintendo DS.

Microsoft Game Studios is expected to publish the Lips karaoke game for the Xbox 360. Keiichi Yano, who is the co-founder of iNiS had indicated some days ago that the studio was working on unnamed project for Microsoft’s next generation console. There is a possibility that Microsoft could announce the game at this year’s E3.
