Last year, we had posted that Jeff Minter’s Space Giraffe would be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA)! Microsoft has now sent word that Space Giraffe will be available this Wednesday on the XBLA. Street Trace: NYC will also be made available for the Xbox 360 gamers.
Space Giraffe (Llamasoft) has been designed by legendary game designer Jeff Minter. The frenetic action game has mesmerizing graphs and 100 levels of out-of-this-world gameplay. To unlock a hidden gameplay mode in this psychedelic shooter, gamers will have to complete all 100 levels.
Street Trace: NYC (Gaia Industries) is set in the urban wastelands of New York City. The all-in-one hoverboard racing and arena battle game has four arena games, three street games and even “cash” tournaments, which will allow gamers to buy board and weapon upgrades between games. It also features multiplayer over Xbox LIVE with up to eight players and a four-way split-screen.
Space Giraffe and Street Trace: NYC will be available for download this Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 9 AM GMT. Both of these games are amazing and innovative in their own way and this week it’s going to be more fun on the Xbox Live!
