Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz said, “To be recognized by Guinness World Records is indeed an honor. Coming so soon after our IGN award is an achievement in itself and we look forward with great anticipation to what we believe will be a highly successful year ahead for the Cyborg brand.”

Gaz Deaves, Gaming Editor for Guinness World Records further added, “We consider all kinds of amazing achievements from across the gaming world for inclusion in the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition, and sometimes that means calculating all the possible configurations of a mouse. The record is based on the total number of physical states that are provably different and can be counted; and doesn’t include software customisation features in the count.”

The device combines state-of-the-art technology with an array of customizable features. Offering a comfortable grip, the mouse includes a Thumb Panel that moves backwards, forwards, and pivots outwards. There are interchangeable Palm rests and Pinkie grips, each having 3 options to avail of. Other attributes include custom weight system, 5600 DPI, Precision Aim mode, 5 programmable buttons, 4 custom DPI settings, 3 Cyborg modes, lightweight metal chassis and powerful ST programming software.
