Razer Star Wars: The Old Republic Gaming Peripherals Unveiled

There’s more to Razer than just being a company which produces gaming-grade products. For residents of the Old Republic, the manufacturer has donned the role of an arms supplier. Uncovering their entry into this well known galactic battle, the company recently announced the Star Wars: The Old Republic gaming keyboard, mouse, mouse pad and headset.

Developed in conjunction with BioWare and LucasArts, the hardware has been bundled together to back players with powerful weaponry. The design and architecture of these products let both the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire factions to hit the battlefield with the same ammunitions. Infused with Razer’s advanced technology, these devices are expected to unleash a new level of combat in this universe.

Ensuring that every resounding and silent acoustic of the cosmos is audible loud and clear, the companies have created the TOR headsets. Its circumaural design with 50mm driver units and 5.1 surround channel engineer superior aural content. Embedded with a flexible boom microphone, the device houses volume and mic adjustment buttons. It also comes with an amenable headband structure and interchangeable faction panels.

The next product in the arsenal namely The SWTOR gaming keyboard has been equipped with gold backlit and slim key caps which render faster actuation and short travel distance. It also sports a touch sensitive LCD track panel, ten dynamic adaptive tactile buttons and fully programmable keys. Attached with a seven foot braided USB cable, it has been entrenched with on-the-fly macro recording ability while extending 1ms response time.

Gamers can traverse across the expansive in-game space with the license TOR gaming mouse incorporated into this collection. Featuring 17 fully programmable MMO-optimized buttons, the device comes with wired/wireless dual mode capability and a multi-color LED lighting panel with about 16 million hues. Its interchangeable gold-backlit faction panels, 5600dpi Razer precision 3.5G laser sensor and 1000Hz Ultrapolling rate wheedle smooth movements and a seamless performance.

To complement players’ movement and actions, the assortment also consists of a gaming mouse mat designed specifically for the SWTOR universe. This peripheral has been imprinted with graphics of both the warring parties, allowing players to choose their preferred group. This dual-sided mat boasts of a performance-grade hard surfaces that have been textured with non-slip, anti-reflective hard coating.

Whereas the gaming mouse mat comes with a price tag of 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,244) and 49.99 Euro (approx. Rs. 3,222). Players can also pick the gaming keyboard by shelling out 199.99 USD (approx. Rs. 8,977) and 199.99 Euro (approx. Rs. 12,890).
