Logitech entered the gaming terrain back in September last year with its wireless headset F540 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems. After catering to gaming consoles, the company unveils a selection of three gamepads fashioned specifically for the PC arena. These devices include Logitech Gamepad F310, Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510 and Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710.
According to the company, the above mentioned accessories are slated to bring console gaming experience to PC titles. These new controllers all feature soft rubber grips and familiar control layout. Another common factor between the trio is Logitech’s floating D-pad design for offering an accurate performance in all eight directions. The controllers can be played with most PC games and also comes along with profiler software which configures the gamepad to replicate a mouse or keyboard action.
Logitech’s Country Manager – India and South West Asia, Subrotah Biswas commented, “Our latest Gamepads are designed to multiply the overall gaming experience. Be it the design, features or price points, the Gamepads are positioned to enthrall game-enthusiasts on old and new titles.”
First on the list is the Logitech Gamepad F310. This particular device is endowed with XInput and DirectInput technology. Other attributes associated with the gamepad include multiple controller configurations, button customization and printable gaming profiles. Gamers can sit at a distance from their PC thanks to the inclusion of a 1.8 meters long cord. This generous length provides them with a comfortable PC gaming experience.
The next offering namely Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510 can also be procured bearing the same aspects. It further includes dual vibration motors which are compatible with video games that provide vibration feedback. The company also adds comfortable rubber grips and a soft-touch bottom case.
The last of the trio is noted to be the Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710. Bearing similar attributes to the F510, the controller also boasts of 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity. A wireless response is acquired via the company’s plug-and-forget Nano receiver which can be connected to the PC’s USB port.
Logitech tags the F310, F510 and F710 gamepads at Rs. 1,345, Rs. 1,895 and Rs. 2,595 respectively. These controllers can be availed via Rashi Peripherals and Neoteric Informatique in India.
