With the holiday season some weeks away from now, Razer has been announcing revamped and new offerings for enthusiasts. Sometime ago, the company unleashed Special Edition MMO gaming mice from its celebrated Razer Naga series. It has now launched an elite wireless Razer Naga Epic MMO gaming mouse.
Wiping out cables from the picture, Razer has engineered this superior gaming peripheral with 17 MMO-optimized buttons. Its ergonomic design extends not only an optimal fit but also strikes a balance between the keyboard and mouse functionality. Embedded with three interchangeable side panels, the product can be customized as per gamers’ likes with more than 16 million backglow lighting hues.
“With the Naga Epic, Razer gives MMO gamers around the world more freedom than ever before. We combined the MMO gaming capabilities of the original best-selling Razer Naga and took it to the next level by giving it a true gaming-grade wireless option utilizing the same technology that we developed for the ultra high-end Razer Mamba,” explained Robert ‘RazerGuy’ Krakoff, President, Razer.
This new peripheral from the popular gaming manufacturer comes with a dual wired/wireless functionality. The distinctly crafted MMO-optimized multi-button thumb grid enables players to make their moves in a precise and natural manner. Whereas, the assortment of side panels facilitates them to customize the mouse for reaching a soothing comfort zone as they jump into action for various titles. It has been said that gamers can derive a smooth and satisfying experience even while the mouse is being charged in the wired mode.
“Every aspect of the Razer Naga Epic’s design, from its ergonomic form factor to button sizes, placement and angles was rigorously tested both internally in our R&D labs in San Francisco and Singapore, and with seasoned pro-gamers,” elucidated Min-Liang Tan, CEO and Creative Director, Razer. “The Naga Epic is also one of the most comfortable mice we’ve ever designed, with 3 interchangeable side panels that ensure an ideal fit for various hand sizes and grip styles.”
Measuring approximately 116 mm x 77 mm x 41 mm, the Epic sports 5600dpi Razer Precision 3.5G Laser Sensor while lending 1000Hz Ultrapolling/ 1ms response time. Gamers can continue to use the mouse in the wireless mode for 12 continuous hours or 72 hours in case of normal gaming usage on a single charge. Besides, they can also make the most out of the unlimited character profiles with addons and the optional MMO-specific software addons.
The Razer Naga Epic wireless MMO gaming mouse will hit stores next month with a price tag of 129.99 USD (approx. Rs. 5,737) or 129.99 Euro (approx. Rs. 8,100).
