Xbox 360 New Year Celebratory Offer announced by Microsoft India

After cutting prices of the games for their next generation consoles, Microsoft India has sent word about Xbox 360’s New Year celebratory offer called ‘Har Family ki Fauj karegi Mauj’, which will see the console being available at a discounted rate bundled with exciting game titles.

Under the offer, the Xbox 360 Core console will come along with two free games, Viva Piñata and Forza Motorsport 2 and will now be available for 14,990. As for the Xbox 360 Pro, it will come with a price tag of Rs. 23, 990 and four free games – PGR3, Forza Motorsport 2, Viva Piñata and Yuvraj Singh International Cricket 2007. So if you look at it the other way, the effective price of the Core console is Rs. 10,585 while that of the Pro version is Rs. 15,380.

Mohit Anand, Country Manager at Microsoft E&D India commented, “This year-end finale savings offer is the ultimate value for money entertainment option for the whole family and we hope that a larger base of families can join us in the exciting world of gaming and entertainment.”

The only catch of the Xbox 360 New Year celebratory offer by Microsoft India is that it is valid till December 31, 2007 or till stocks last. The holiday period for the Indian gamers is proving out to be quite a good one!
