Fnatic.msi to Participate in BYOC Gaming Event at New Delhi

The 13th BYOC Computer and Gaming festival is scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India on June 25, 2010. This 60-hour non-stop international style festival is claimed to be the country’s most popular gaming event. MSI is all set to bring professional gaming team Fnatic.msi to the BYOC event.

According to the company, Fnatic.msi is one of the best known professional gaming teams. The group comprises of players plucked from all across the globe and even has offices in the Netherlands, UK and Australia. The team coming to India includes five members who are experts in the FPS shooter Counterstrike. These individuals include KyoChi (Conney Sjöberg), odyx (Marcus Nilsson), Stevy (Stevy Verheyen), xertion (Milan Veeger), and Nikokick (Kalle Carlden).

The preliminaries will take place on June 25 through 27, 2010. Indian players will get a chance to compete against the members of Fnatic.msi as well as enjoy workshops on over-clocking, enhancing gaming skills and demo-teaching sessions by the team. A few lucky attendees will even be able to play COD4 with Fnatic in the MSI booth. The winners announced at the Gaming Extravaganza will be able to get their hands on product and cash which is worth 5 lakh rupees with the grand winner going to Beijing, China.

Besides this, BYOC will also see MSI displaying its high-end G-series gaming laptops. The company also unveils its MSI GT660 gaming notebook for the first time in Indian markets. The offering includes MSI’s exclusive TDE+ technology and is the first notebook computer to house this technology according to the company.

The Gaming festival is expected to see more than 3000 gamers as well as 10,000 visitors. There will also be a Gaming Exhibition, LAN Party, Seminars and BYOC Gamers Choice Awards as well as lecture-workshops on gaming.
