Caruso has directed Disturbia and the more recent Eagle Eye action movie. Dead Space is set in the dark endless space of the twenty sixth century. A brave engineer responds to a distress call from a mining ship and quickly rushes to help. He unfortunately finds that the craft is teeming with grotesque creatures called Necromorphs. These creatures are nothing but humans transformed by a deadly alien virus.

Apparently, EA is currently working on the second and third installment of the survival horror game. Mass Effect, The Sims and Army of Two are some of the other EA titles that are expected to be made into movies. A Gears of War movie is also on the cards and will be produced by Temple Hill’s Bowen and Godfrey.
