Gears of War Cake!!!
Today it was the birthday of one of our workmates who is very, very crazy about Gears of War (like me!). A week ago, we were all deciding how to give him a surprise. After much brainstorming, we decided to give him his ultimate fantasy, a Gears of War cake!
The only thing was, we didn’t know was where to get it done. We downloaded a picture of the Crimson Omen and ran fast to a lady baker in Mumbai. She was a little bit skeptical about making it. Yeah, it is understood as she mostly gets orders for cakes that are in shapes of wrestlers, sports stars or animated characters like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. We literally had to explain, what Gears of War was, to her.
After that, we had to keep it under wraps until he came to office. It was a big task to hide a three kg cake. I am sure the Locust Horde would have loved to devour it. It was remarkable to see the look on our workmates’ when we presented the cake to him. It was the same look we all used to have when we used to chainsaw the Drones. Anyway, we wish him all the best!

Awesome cake man, I wish I had one like it for my birthday (last month). I got Gears of War around when it came out, and I still play it! In fact, I think I’m going to go get on right now
