Names of Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC packs outed

A yearlong schedule of DLC packs is what annualized games are used to, and same is the case with Call of Duty: Ghosts which will be receiving four content bundles for its multiplayer experience. While this was known from before, it is for the first time that names of its DLC packs have come to the fore, thanks to an image from emails that were sent to fans.

Activision has now taken down the image, but the damage as they say, is done. It has been revealed that the four DLC packs for Call of Duty: Ghosts will be called Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion and Nemesis. As Eurogamer points out, combining their initials forms the word ODIN, which refers to an orbital superweapon from the game’s single-player campaign.

We’re yet to hear anything official about the Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC packs, but it seems certain that these names are indeed true. The image in question appears to be advertising the game’s Season Pass, offering 10 USD (approx. Rs 625) worth of savings for those who plan to purchase all the packs.

Call of Duty: Ghosts came out earlier this month for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC as well as the PS4, while it is slated to be released for the Xbox One tomorrow. Offering trademark first-person shooter gameplay, it also proffers new features in the form of fresh multiplayer modes, improved AI and a lot more. This entry to the popular series has been developed by Infinity Ward.

Coming back to the Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC, we’ll have more on it when added details are out.
