Haze for PS3 Coming out in May 2008: Ubisoft
Lots and lots of PS3 gamers are waiting for one of the most promising first-person shooters for a very long time. Haze has been delayed many times and though it was expected to be out earlier this year, the FPS was pushed back. Now Ubisoft has confirmed to video games website CVG that the PlayStation 3 title indeed be out in May.
Haze is about private military corporations (PMCs) and is set in the future where a PMC named Mantel Industries powers its troops with a drug called Nectar. It tells the story of a rebel Mantel soldier named Shane Carpenter who turns against the corporation after witnessing the effect of Nectar on his fellow soldiers.
Haze will be out on the PS3 in Europe and Great Britain on May 23, 2008. There is no word on the North American release date but there are speculations that the shooter will hit the stores over there in May 2008 itself with some slapping the May 20 release date. Let’s hope that Haze does not get delayed again!
