Halo 3 Leaked on the Internet

As I wait for Microsoft’s embargo to end so that we can post our own take on the game, word is that numerous retailers have already broken the street date and have started selling officially copies of Halo 3.

Some chaps from the360forums.com have gone on to post videos and pictures of all the multiplayer maps of Halo 3 and even show the online Halo community the very first cutscene of the game. All of them have done something “Illegal” with the legal version of the game, as in they bought the original copies of the game and booted it up on their consoles.

The latest news on the torrentz/warez front is that copies of Halo 3 have been leaked onto the Internet, which means that some b****** from the most obscure corner of the world can leak the entire plot of Halo 3.

Max Console reports:

“We have been sent an NFO file for the leaked Halo 3 which was released by well known hacking group ‘Paradogs’. The size of the game is 72x100MB, video mode is PAL (which is the regions where we have heard about Halo 3 release date breaks) and their supplier is stated to be Mickey Mouse (that is a joke from them we guess). We have also had another e-mail, which indicates another group has leaked the title onto the web (which has been stealth patched to prevent detection from MS) and while the first ‘leak’ may be a fake, the second is definitely real due to multiple confirmations. Either way it definitely seems out there for pirates to enjoy.”

Here’s a picture confirming this breaking news:

Halo 3 Leaked on the Internet

The Chief seems to be finishing the fight a bit early I guess, and even he can’t save himself from the wrath and terror that plagues the sea of information that traverses through the underground channel, and guess piracy is a tougher nut to crack than the covenant.

What this means is that Halo 3 will soon be available all across Asia including our beloved country India within a couple of days. The embargo seems pretty redundant to us now, but as they say patience has its own set of rewards. So all you guys who love Bungie and its product please try and get the original version, since its they who deserve credit for the numerous hours of tireless work they have put into crafting the game.
