Hollywood Stars to lend Voice for Touchstone’s Turok FPS Game

Several prominent actors are all set to star as major characters in the upcoming sci-fi First Person Shooter game “Turok” from Touchstone. Amongst the stars who recorded voices of characters for this Xbox 360 and PS3 game are Timothy Olyphant, Powers Boothe, Ron Perlman, William Fichtner and Donnie Wahlberg.

Turok is an epic, story-driven FPS game that is set on a dark, mysterious planet in the future. The player takes on the role of Joesph Turok, a former black ops commando, who is now part of an elite special forces squad known as Whiskey Company, whose mission is to take down Roland Kane and his army, the Mendel-Gruman Corporation.

As Whiskey Company’s ship approaches the planet inhabited by Mendel-Gruman, the ship is shot down. Turok is then stranded on the planet and must locate other crash survivors while confronting Mendel-Gruman soldiers and a variety of dinosaurs and other ravenous creatures.

Gregory Norman Cruz provides the voice of Joseph Turok. Voices of the Whiskey Company members are provided by Timothy Olyphant (as Cowboy), Ron Perlman (as Slade), Donnie Wahlberg (as Shepard), William Fichtner (as Logan), Mark Rolston ( as Cole), Chris Judge (as Jericho), Lombardo Boyar ( as Gonzales), Gideon Emery (as Reese), Josh Gomez (as Parker), Jon Curry ( as Foster), Jason Harris (as Carter) and Steve Van Wormer ( as Henderson).

Further, Sean Donnellan voices Grimes, who is Kane’s mysterious henchman, while Powers Boothe is the voice of villain Roland Kane.

Turok for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 consoles will be released on February 5, 2008.
