Final Fight: Double Impact expected to release in 2010
Final Fight was recently in the news for Final Fight 2 being included into the virtual console segment. Now according to IGN, Capcom has revealed to them that Final Fight would make its reappearance next year in April. The offering will be a single digital download comprising of both Final Fight and Magic Sword. The title is apparently christened as Final Fight: Double Impact.

These two classic games are side-scrolling beat-em up titles which are both wrapped up in one single offering. In a fantasy-themed brawler Magic Sword, players take on the role of The Brave One as he wages battles against the evil Drokmar. Final Fight invites players to journey along well-known faces like Cody, Guy, and Haggar. They are offered six stages where gamers have to fight against Mad Gear in Metro City. The website also reveals that Guy and Cody can also be spied as playable characters in Super Street Fighter IV.
Apparently Final Fight: Double Impact will be available in two visual modes. One with the original look and the other set to ‘make the games shine in crisp and clear HD glory’. Both the titles are expected to support leaderboards as well as online play with drop-in co-op elements which enable gamers to easily join a game that is currently in progress.
As IGN states, Final Fight: Double Impact will be accessible through the Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Store. There were no price details of the game disclosed to the website.
