Like its PC counterpart, you’ll also have to build your own crew in this title and get an advantage in races with help from your wingmen.

The game offers an open world which can be roamed freely with a lot of places to explore. The goal here is to challenge other crews around the city and gain dominance. There are over 25 cars available and many modes to race in such as circuit, sprint, lap knockout and more. You’ll also have to deal with the cops. The title supports 4-player multiplayer Wi-Fi.

Pulse is the sequel to Wipeout Pure and it was launched back in 2007. The game is set in the year 2207 and it features futuristic vehicles which hover. This release revolves around the FX400 Anti-Gravity Racing League where you’ll have to join one of 8 teams to participate. There are several modes for gameplay including single race, tournament, time trial, zone mode, elimination and zone mode as well as multiplayer support in head-2-head mode.

Like Carbon Own the City, this release offers open world gameplay which is set in 3 different locations, namely San Diego, Atlanta and Detroit. The game offers 5 types of modes, Ordered, Unordered, Autocross, Track events and Arcade.

You can also compete against players around the globe via Wi-Fi and customize cars with upgrades like better suspension, superchargers, rims, body kits custom paint jobs and more. An updated Remix version of the game was launched back in 2006 with new cars and a fresh city amongst others, albeit it was only made available for the PS2 and Xbox.

If you love racing titles with a side dish of destruction, FlatOut: Head On is what you need. The game is based on the Xbox 360 release, FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage. Almost everything here is destructible from the environment, to cars and more. You’ll get to take part in 2 different modes, FlatOut and Carnage.
