Disney Pixar Cars Race-O-Rama zooms into stores
THQ Inc unleashes its third installment in the highly acclaimed Cars game franchise. The company releases Disney Pixar’s Cars Race-O-Rama into retail outlets across North America. The game is compatible with various gaming systems like Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and PSP. Players will be able to ride along with some of the well-known characters from the animated movie like Lightening McQueen and Chick Hicks.
The latest title takes gamers to Radiator Springs where they must prepare their pupils as they take part in the Race-O-Rama Racing Series. Besides the familiar characters players will be able to espy 15 newly introduced playable characters. Special racing kits can be unlocked for Lightening McQueen as players progress through the game. The game also comprises of some brand new tracks located in the sandy beaches, Baja desert and metro city streets.
Players will be also able to customize parts of Lightening McQueen like wheels, hood, rear bumper, rims, spoiler and side skirt. Adding a touch of paint, the special customizing features allow gamers to put their own personal touch on the beloved character. The racing adventure also lets them execute new drifting abilities and perform Ka-chow poses for enthusiastic fans and media. Friends can also get in on all the racing action as Cars Race-O-Rama also comprises of multiplayer mini-games. These titles are based on Disney Pixar’s Cars Toons.
Already high tailing to stores now the new E rated Cars title is priced at $39.99 (approx. Rs.1,845) for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. The PSP and Nintendo DS version of the game is priced at $29.99 (approx. Rs.1,384) while Cars Race-O-Rama for the PS2 can be acquired for $19.99 (approx. Rs.922).
