Telltale’s Game of Thrones series is ready to be besotted with its penultimate episode next week. Apart from a trailer for it, the developer has also revealed the exact release date details of Episode 5 for all the platforms it’s supposed to land on.
The episode has been named A Nest of Vipers, and will be hitting the PS4, the PS3, PC and Mac on July 21 which is a Tuesday. The next day, on July 22, it will be seen arriving for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, whereas its launch for Android and iOS mobile devices will take place on Thursday, July 23.
This only leaves one more episode from the first season of Game of Thrones to be released now. There’s no particular timeframe that Telltale has revealed for its release, but we can expect it to arrive within the next two months. The previous episodes of this game have been well received by critics and players alike.
This game is actually called Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series, and is of course based on the A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy novels by George R.R. Martin and the hit TV show by HBO. It features the developer’s typical adventure game formula involving tailored storylines and quick decision-making.
The first episode was named Iron From Ice, and had been released back in December last year. Following this, the second and third chapters named The Lost Lords and The Sword in the Darknes were launched in February and March, respectively. The fourth episode dubbed Sons of Winter was released in May this year.
Like we said, July 21 is when the rollout of Game of Thrones Episode 5 is scheduled to commence.
