Dishonored is getting one more piece of add-on content, but unlike the last one, this is not a story-driven offering; instead, Void Walker’s Arsenal is a set of content bundles that were earlier available exclusively as pre-order bonuses. It will be launched by Bethesda through PSN, Xbox Live and Steam on May 14 (a day later on European PSN), and will be priced at a mere 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 215) or 320 Microsoft Points.
Included in the DLC are the Acrobatic Killer Pack, the Arcane Assassin Pack, the Backstreet Butcher Pack and the Shadow Rat Pack. Each of them grants players gameplay perks such as character bonuses, additional bone charm slots, unhidden books and 500 bonus coins. They will be able to gain access to these items at the Hound Pits Pub location found within the game. It should however be noted that gamers will only be able to utilize them in the main campaign, and not in any content launched after it.
The game had come out for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in October last year, and was quick to grab everyone’s attention thanks to its refined stealth-based experience which was complemented well by an interesting steampunk setting and a hooking story. Developed by Arkane Studios, it turned out to be a recipient of immense critical and player acclaim, and besides this, it also received a number of awards from different publications around the world.
In December last year, it got its first main DLC in the form of the Dunwall City Trials content. It has nothing to do with the game’s story but grants gamers a set of challenge maps wherein they need to defeat waves of enemies, complete time-trial challenges and perform a series of drop assassinations. It can be purchased now at 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 270) or 400 Microsoft Points for the respective platforms.
Then came the much loved The Knife of Dunwall DLC, this title’s first story-drive add-on. It tells the main game’s story from the perspective of its main antagonist, Daud, letting gamers play as a completely different character with new supernatural abilities. It can be bought at 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 540) or 800 Microsoft Points.
The Dishonored Void Walker’s Arsenal DLC will be released by Bethesda on May 14 for the above mentioned price.
