Online as well as local co-op will be available for players to jump into, while the title’s story will act as a prequel to the upcoming flick. The first flick in the series which came in 2010 didn’t have a video game to tag along with it. The Expendables franchise is known to feature flicks that comprise an ensemble cast of action stars, with the latest one kicking in the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and even Chuck Norris.

The Expendables 2 Videogame is still to be blessed with a release date, but it has been confirmed to be coming this summer for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC as a downloadable game.
