Gamers not weary of bursting the living hell out of the zombies from Burn Zombie Burn can start looking forward to its ‘spiritual successor’ dubbed, All Zombies Must Die! The game is expected be made available on the PS3 and PC through PSN and Steam, in Q4 of this year. Like its predecessor, this game too seems to have excluded the Xbox 360 as a platform.
Four characters – a gamer, a girl, a mad scientist and an alien will feature in the title. They would be required to battle over 6 billion zombies as they progress through the game’s ‘insane storyline.’ Set in the fictional town of Deadhill, All Zombies Must Die!, offers gameplay elements like character levelling, weapons crafting and numerous quests.
Jim Mummery, creative director at doublesix, commented, “After the success of Burn Zombie Burn, we’ve been looking forward to dishing up a new serving of undead craziness but this is no straight sequel. All Zombies Must Die! has its own unique ingredients with weapons-based arena combat, weapon crafting, character development, a whole lot of questing and much much more – all mixed in with a huge portion of zombie action.”
Weapons like Magma Storm Assault Rifle, Odin’s Toothpick Katana and the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun can be acquired by gamers as they move through the game. These weapons can be used in a ‘number of horrifying and hilarious ways’ as players eliminate the zombies coming in their way.
All Zombies Must Die! will release later this year on PSN and Steam.
