Touted by developer doublesix to be the zaniest digital undead apocalypse experience ever, All Zombies Must Die! is all set to enter PSN and Xbox Live later this week. This game is a twin-stick shooter which also kicks in a number of RPG features as well as four player co-op support.
A large variety of weapons also make their way into this title along with an unusual storyline. Moreover, the quest system in this game has apparently been blended with character leveling and weapon crafting so as to create a hybrid action/role playing gameplay. New arenas, characters, weapons and the abilities to customize the latter two have also been embedded into AZMD in the form of unlockable traits.
“All Zombies Must Die! has taken twin-stick shooters to another level with persistent RPG elements, awesome new weapons and all new crazy zombies. All Zombies Must Die! adds its own unique ingredients to the genre, with weapons-based arena combat, weapons crafting, character development and a whole lot of questing, all mixed in with a huge portion of zombie action,” commented, Jim Mummery, Creative Director at doublesix.
It has been revealed on the official PlayStation blog that a range of zombies from the game will make their way into PS Home so as to celebrate the festive period. Some of these creatures like Jogger, Swat, Crazy and Luxo can currently be downloaded by gamers as their pets.
All Zombies Must Die! will be made available for purchase via PSN on December 27, 2011, while it will be released through Xbox Live a day later. The Xbox 360 version has been announced to be priced at 800 Microsoft Points.
