First Assassin’s Creed II DLC for PS3, Xbox 360 coming Next Week

Assassin’s Creed II is the sequel to the 2007 video game Assassin’s Creed from Ubisoft. The game was highly rated and garnered universal critical acclaim. Now 1UP is reporting that Ubisoft has, via a Twitter post, announced that the first batch of downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed II will be released next week.

The DLC is titled Battle of Forli and will apparently star Ezio as well as Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza, as they go up against the Orsi brothers. It is also said to contain six new memories, including one with a Leonardo da Vinci flying machine. There will also be another piece of downloadable content, which will come sometime in February 2010.

The Battle of Forli DLC will release for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 28, 2010. It will be priced at 3.99 euros (approx. Rs. 260) for the PS3 and 320 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360.
