Fast Striker 1.5 for Dreamcast goes gold

Dreamcast, the flashy white machine which marked the beginnings of sixth generation of video games has long receded into its cavern, or that slim space beneath the huge pile of everything after 2001 in a player’s closet. Now, NG:Dev.Team is encouraging such users to reconsider their decision as the company publicizes that Fast Striker 1.5 for Sega Dreamcast has gone gold, and will be available in Regular and Limited Editions starting later this month.

Fast Striker 1.5 features 4 modes each with its unique scoring systems and difficulty, specifically Novice for first-timers, Original for players accustomed to shoot ‘em up games, Maniac mode for more the ones who are more skilled and Omake for the experts. With fluent 3D scrolling backgrounds, gigantic CGI bosses and more than 40 unique enemy types, the game is reported to offer brilliant 2D arcade gameplay in the one of the most advanced NeoGeo game.

Ascribing such bragging rights to Fast Striker 1.5 are 1,560 megabit count and the capacity to have 4 times more bullets and enemies on the screen than any of the previous NeoGeo games. Additionally, the Fast Striker 1.5 Limited Edition is also said to bundle a bonus soundtrack CD with original and arranged music tracks laid across a playtime of 54:06 minutes, of which 4 are exclusive.

Fast Striker 1.5 Regular Edition is available to pre-order for 32.95 EUR (approx. Rs. 1,966) from the game’s official website, whereas the Fast Striker 1.5 Limited Edition is priced for an early purchase at 45.95 EUR (approx. Rs. 2,741). Both of these products will be in stock from December 21, 2010.
