Splinter Cell Conviction gets co-op; New multiplayer mode

Splinter Cell Conviction is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and is noted to be the fifth title in the Splinter Cell game series. The company was earlier fathomed to release few of its titles including the game in question by late 2009. Ubisoft disclosed that these games will experience delay and unveil into the market by the first quarter of 2010.

Now as CVG puts it, first details of Splinter Cell Conviction multiplayer mode are soon to be out. These details were espied in the most recent issue of PC Zone magazine. On the back page, it was stated that the next issue would shed light on ‘hands-on, co-op reveal and a brand new mode’

Co-op mode is not new to the series as these elements were earlier seen in the third installment dubbed Chaos Theory in Xbox Live spy collaboration missions. The mercs vs. spies multiplayer which is a Splinter Cell trademark is also known to be a team game.

The PC Zone magazine which incorporates details of co-op and new multiplayer mode of Splinter Cell Conviction is scheduled to release on December 23, 2009.
