Assassin’s Creed having Issues with Xbox 360 as well as PS3

Usually we have fanboys who compare a particular game on their respective consoles. However, for Assassin’s Creed, it seems that PS3 as well as Xbox 360 fanboys will have something to say about, and by saying we mean something ‘bad’. Assassin’s Creed director spoke to Pro-G and indicated that it was hard to fit the game in the Xbox 360 DVD disc while there were troubles related with memory for the PS3.

Patrice Desilets is the creative director of Assassin’s Creed. He told Pro-G, “Both have their own challenges. Right now we have a big challenge on the 360 to make it fit on a DVD, to put five languages, to put all the data on eight gigs. On the Blu-ray side we’re really good, but then the memory is quite different. How we handle memory is really different between the two machines and we’re struggling right now on the PS3. But we have people who are really dedicated and we’re having help from Microsoft on one side and Sony on the other side to have the same quality on both systems. It really depends on the week basically as to who is best.”

Assassin’s Creed is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Desilets assured that the game would be of the same quality on both the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3 as the developers had taken help from Microsoft and Sony. But it seems we will have to wait for the game to release to find out which version is better!
