Berlin-based Frogster Interactive Pictures has announced Speedball 2 for the PC. The video game series is a futuristic sports game, part handball, part ice hockey, and is played six-a-side on a court with steel walls and a ball also made of steel. The game lacks any rules and any kind of contact is allowed.

- Speedball 2 pulls all the registers of modern multiplayer gaming action. Fully customizable characters from cyborg to Amazon, dynamic sports battles, and continuous community support will convince sports simulation aficionados, action fans, and e-sports cracks likewise.
The game will release in the third quarter of 2007. The original game was released way back in 1990 and had become a huge hit. Let’s see if the Speedball 2 game can emulate the success of the original game.
